Ways to beat dry skin in the winter

3:20 PM

I suffer from extreme dry skin during the colder months, almost as if my skin is moisture resistant. Lol.
Over there years there were some of things I did to keep my skin from drying.

1.Drink lots of water! We all know staying hydrated no matter the season is always the thing to do!

2.Take showers or a bath the night before. Doing this will not only save you at least 10 minutes in the morning it will prevent you from catching a cold from not being completely dry when leaving your house, especially when if you wash your hair the in the morning.

3.Vaseline is your best friend! Vaseline acts as insulation for your body. If you're worrying about the greasiness, don't, a little goes along way. If you don't like Vaseline, trying using moisturisers with the words: extreme, ultra, intense, etc.

4.Layering up! Although you ladies and gentlemen look great posting your outfits on your blogs and social media, I don't recall anyone mentioning thermals or long johns. When did we start wearing stilettos in the snow?

5.Don't put up the heat too high! Sixty wight degrees is a good temperature to start with. It will feel very warm compared to outside, keep your heat cost down, and doesn't dry your skin out.

Let me know what tips you use to beat the harsh winter cold!
